(D2/645)seems to be the most likely father as he
appears to be the only person in St.Eval at this time. However,
none
of James children are named Hugh and he may not have been born in St.Eval. Due
to the lack of parish records and
the
fact that most of the wills were destroyed in the Blitz on Exeter, it will
probably never be proved one way or the
other,
however JAMES must fit into this tree somewhere.
